An identity card is not the only document authorised for sitting an exam. You can also present a current passport or driving licence.
The provisions introduced last year, allowing pupils and students to take a driving test with an identity document that has been expired for less than 5 years, remain valid for 2024.
This option is open to pupils and students in secondary schools, agricultural colleges, and institutes of higher education.
