Administrative procedures made easier for New Caledonians

Since mid-February, New Caledonians can log in and create an account on the France Titres (ANTS - French authority for secure documents) portal via NC Connect.

In 2023, 71.4% of passport and national identity card applications nationwide were made via our "online pre-application" teleservice.

The online pre-application substantially reduces the time required to obtain an appointment in a town hall.

In New Caledonia, only 2.5% of applications were made using the online pre-application procedure.

The main issue for users in this overseas territory is having a FranceConnect account to access this teleservice. Most do not have such an account.

To make their administrative procedures easier and to speed up the processing of secured document applications, hand in hand with local authorities, France Titres has agreed to enable users with a NC Connect account to access the Authority's other services.

As such, since mid-February, New Caledonians can create a France Titres account via NC Connect to access the Authority's services, in particular the passport and national identity card pre-application service.

To use this teleservice, you must:

  1. Create a NC Connect account if you do not already have one;
  2. Verify your identity on NC Connect;
  3. Log into your account or create an account on the France Titres site by clicking "Log in"

Reminder

If you made your passport application in New Caledonia, you must add a paper-version tax stamp to your application when you go for your appointment in the town hall, for the following amount:

  • CFP F3,000 for an adult;
  • CFP F1,500 for a minor aged between 15 and 18;
  • Free of charge for minors under the age of 15.

Do not buy your tax stamp online.
